Our natural environment is very important in keeping the cultural identity of Ngāi Tahu alive. To honour the environments our tūpuna (ancestors) moved through in Te Waipounamu (The South Island), and particular mahika kai (natural resources), make an arty map of the Hakatere district at the Gallery and Museum!
